SKIN TREATMENTS
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a gentle yet highly effective treatment that removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair, commonly known as peach fuzz. Often referred to as a supercharged exfoliating treatment, it helps reveal a smoother, brighter and more radiant complexion.
Performed by a trained professional, the treatment carefully removes the outermost layer of dull, dead skin cells and fine hair from the surface of the face. It is non-invasive and should be completely painless, with any slight redness usually settling within around 30 minutes.
Dermaplaning can help improve the appearance of uneven skin texture and dullness, leaving the complexion looking fresh, healthy and rejuvenated. By removing the build-up of dead skin, skincare products can absorb more effectively, while make-up applies more smoothly and evenly.

SKIN TREATMENTS
Microneedling
Often called skin needling or collagen induction therapy. It uses a handheld device that creates very tiny but controlled micro trauma to the skin as the needles vibrate. This very shallow puncture to the skin causes the skin to move into healing, resurfacing and rejuvenation. This stimulates collagen & elastin production so that the newly resurfaced skin is often more plump and taught, with fine lines appearing reduced. Course of treatments is recommended for optimal results, suitable for most skin types. Treatments can be carried out monthly. This is a great treatment to reduce the appearance of acne scaring.

Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels involve the application of a chemical (acidic) solution onto the skin, which acts to remove impurities and regenerate the top layers of the skin. During your initial consultation we will complete a medical questionnaire and talk about your skin concerns to find the right solution for you.
Chemical peels are known to improve skin appearance and skin tone, reduce pigmentation and inflammation, as well as being effective to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as aiding to reduce scarring over a course of treatments.

Fractional Plasma Pen Facial – Phi-Ion
The PhiIon Plasma Pen is used with a soft energy spread over the surface of the skin. This pulse of energy encourges the applied specialist hyaluronic acid serum into the skin and stimulates collagen and elastin production. Any redness will subsite within a couple fo hours.
This provides a general tightening & deep hydration which works best over a course of treatments 3 sessions over a 6 week period. Maintenance sessions every month or so. The skin looks radiant, hydrated & more taut even after the first treatment.
Fibroblast Plasma Pen Skin Tightening
The Fibroblast Plasma Pen Skin Tightening treatment works by using a hand-tool (Phi-Ion ) that produces a tiny plasma flash which leaps from the tip of the tool to the skin’s surface in a micro-millimetre sized point. These minute thermal dots are positioned adjacent to the tension lines on the skin. This process triggers an instant-contraction and tightening of skin fibres, which in turn causes lifting, remodelling & has a rejuvenating effect.
The science involves the ionisation of gases from the air creating a micro electrical discharge causing sublimation at the targeted micro points on the skin. What does this mean? The tiny heat dots cause the skin to contract, reducing the excessive sagging on the superficial skin layer. This method can be used to treat specific areas of concern without damaging the surrounding tissue or applying unwanted heat energy to them.
This ‘soft surgery’ is a non invasive alternative to more risky surgical procedures. The effects can often be seen immediately after the treatment however it is expected for 5-7 days where you will retain little carbon crusts from the thermal disruption. These dots will fall away.
As with anything disrupting the surface of the skin there is a minimal risk of swelling, as the body enters healing mode and concentrates its energy into rebuilding. Following your treatment you will start to see instant results, where the skin will start to contract straight away. Little scabs will form over your area of micro sublimation & these must not be disturbed but left to heal. These will fall away over the next 2-3 days. Keeping the area clean to heal safely and not picking will help your procedure heal quickly and look at its best. You may notice slight blanching around the area after your treatment which is totally normal and should subside in a few hours.
Sleeping in a slightly elevated position can help reduce swelling following treatment. Results can last up to 2 years, repeat treatments for further improvement must have a 4 moth gap between treatments

Pre Treatment Advice
- Arrive to your appointment make up free
- No waxing / plucking / self tan on the skin for 48 hrs pre treatment
- Stop using any creams containing Retinol, Vitamin A & avoid sun exposure for min 5 days pre treatment
- No injectables, Botox or Fillers for 2 weeks pre & post treatment
- Stay hydrated
- Please avoid Coffee, taking Ibuprofen, Aspirin (unless medically advised) & alcohol the night before or day of your treatment
- Avoid sun exposure – no sunbeds a min 48 hrs pre treatment
- Ensure you are in good health the day of your treatment
Post Treatment Advice
- Avoid direct sun exposure as advised for each treatment, please apply SPF daily and no sunbeds for minimum of one month.
- Leave skin for 24 -48 hours following treatment or as instructed
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid excessive activity that may cause sweating – treatment dependant
- Do not exfoliate the area for a minimum of 7 days – you should not need to exfoliate following your treatment.
- Microneedling it is likely that there will be some redness in the treated area, this should calm down after the first 24hrs
- Plasma Pen Fibroblast treatment – speak to your practitioner for secific guidelines DO NOT PICK or PULL the scabs that form, these must be allowed to fall off naturally over the coming days
